PT AMI gains benefits from continuous development in PTA production technology carried out by BP and Mitsui Chemicals. This development of technology enables PT AMI to produce high quality PTA efficiently and effectively.
PT AMI had increased its production amounts from the installed capacity of 350,000 tons to 460,000 tons of PTA per year in 2006. Total production of PTA up to December 2006 was 3.726.000 tons.
